THE TLC STORY
It started for me at the age of 10 when I saw my first elaborate holiday lighting display. I saw the outlined house, the shimmering bushes, the gigantic illuminated trees and I was hooked. I also noticed how every car driving by would slow down to take in the scene. It seemed to me that the display had a “WOW” effect on all of the spectators.
At that point, I started decorating my parents home. Each year it got better and better and at the age of 14, I won the local holiday lighting contest along with $100. I won the contest again at age 21 and in 1997, after graduating from college, I started my first holiday lighting business. It really took off and I have been decorating private homes, shopping centers and restaurants ever since.
Along the way, I was asked to do the lighting for many weddings of my family and friends. Each time, I was honored and followed through with some spectacular displays, some of which stayed up permanently. This is when the idea to illuminate weddings and special events was birthed.
I have a passion for lighting. I enjoy the challenge of using spatial design and artistic vision. It brings me tremendous joy to add lighting to an event to help create that special atmosphere and that “WOW” experience for my clients. I am looking forward to creating that perfect mood for you at your next event.
